The content of this course will be concentrated on the recent development of semiconductor research. The main topics are listed as follows.
1. Spin generation in semiconductor heterostructures
2. Surface plasmon polariton in semiconductor nanostructures.
3. photonic crystals based on nanoscale semiconductors.
4. Nanostructured semiconductors and solar cells.
5. Nanocomposites based on semiconductor materials.
6. Novel synthesis methods for nanostructured semiconductors.
